DUGEOR Project Consortium Meeting in Telavi

On June 10-11, 2025, Telavi State University hosted the DUGEOR consortium management meeting of the European Union's Erasmus+ project.

The event was conducted in hybrid format, giving participants the opportunity to join online as well. The first day of the meeting covered significant issues, including:

The Ministry of Education, Science and Youth of Georgia presented the draft amendments to the Law on Higher Education. The National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement introduced participants to recommendations for developing accreditation standards for dual higher education.

The Head of the International Relations Office at Batumi Navigation Teaching University presented the project partners with a vision for practical component documentation, assessment templates, and checklist tools.

The second day of the meeting was dedicated to open discussion and project administration issues.

The "DUGEOR" project is significant for establishing a dual higher education system in Georgia.
