Batumi Navigation University offers first-year students of the bachelor educational programs Maritime Navigation and Ship's Power Plant the opportunity to participate in the Bernhard Schulte Shipmanagement (BSM) Smart Academy program.

After completing their first year, students can go through the selection process for the BSM Smart Academy program. The selection process includes an application procedure, psychometric and aptitude tests, as well as interviews. The program consists of theoretical training at the university and maritime practice on BSM vessels.

This opportunity enables students to acquire the knowledge required for the modern digital maritime industry, develop leadership skills and prepare for a career with BSM.

The program is implemented in collaboration with local and international partners.
