The 31st General Assembly of the European Association of Vocational Education Institutions (EVBB)
On November 29, 2024, the 31st General Assembly of the European Association of Vocational Education Institutions (EVBB) took place, with Associate Professor George Gabedava, Head of the International Relations Service at BNTU, participating.
The assembly, held online, primarily focused on electing the new EVBB Executive Committee. Additional agenda items included reviewing the 2023 annual reports, nominating new members, presenting auditors' conclusions, and discussing plans for 2025.
“Participation in the EVBB General Assembly is vital for our university as it enables us to actively contribute to the development of European vocational education and exchange best practices with our partners,” stated George Gabedava.
The assembly also addressed reforms to the organization's charter and established a dedicated committee for this purpose. Concluding with a discussion on the 2025 Action Plan, the event lasted three hours.
EVBB serves as a significant European platform for vocational education institutions, fostering collaboration among members and the sharing of best practices.
