The International Summer School

On July 5-7, 2024, George Gabedava, the head of the International Relations Service at BNTU and an associate professor, participated in the international summer school "Intersectoral Cooperation, Technology Transfer and Innovation."
The three-day event was opened with welcoming remarks by Nodar Papukashvili, Deputy Minister of Education, Science and Youth of Georgia, Tamar Sanikidze, Executive Director of the "Innovation, Inclusive Education, and Quality" project, and Professor Tatiana Fumasoli from University College London (UCL).
The summer school aimed to train early career researchers and academic staff in best practices for research management and innovation. Its primary objective was to enhance research capabilities within Georgian universities, improve the quality of their research structures, processes, and outcomes, and foster their internationalization.
This summer school was part of the international project "Innovation, Inclusive Education, and Quality" (executive director Tamar Sanikidze), funded by the World Bank. It was implemented in cooperation with the Ministry of Education, Science and Youth of Georgia and the consulting firm UCL Consultant.
