Webinar „An Exploration of the Taxonomy Table“

On September 5, 2025, the academic and invited staff of Batumi Navigation Teaching University participated in the IAMU-organized webinar “An Exploration of the Taxonomy Table.”

The webinar was dedicated to discussing the new dimension of Bloom’s taxonomy, which encompasses both the cognitive process and the knowledge dimensions. Participants gained practical knowledge on how to map learning outcomes onto the taxonomy table and evaluate them effectively.

The webinar was led by Professor Dr. Paul S. Szwed of the Massachusetts Maritime Academy, who has extensive experience in pedagogical research and in evaluating teaching effectiveness.

Batumi Navigation Teaching University will continue to engage in international educational initiatives that contribute to improving the quality of teaching and introducing innovative approaches.
