On February 16, at the Batumi Navigation Teaching University with the business trip purpose was visited "Columbia Shipmanagement Ltd" crewing company Crew Training Manager, Capt. Faouzi Fradi, also as the Director of the above company’s Batumi branch - Vladimir Shelia and Training Manager, Capt. George Kikvidze. The purpose of visit was assessing the quality of teaching and training process of BNTU and providing of BNTU students with seaboard training, also as the possibility of training and certification of “Columbia Shipmanagement Ltd” vessel’s crew in BNTU Maritime Training Centre. Capt. Faouzi Fradi had positively assessed BNTU’s technical and human resources, he emphasized compliance with international standards. Has been outlined future plans of cooperation.
