BNU Students Explored Modern ECDIS Systems

On June 22, 2026, students of Batumi Navigation University attended a public lecture titled “Electronic Chart Display and Information System (ECDIS): Navigating the Digital Seas – Technology, Safety, and Compliance.” The event was organized by the Maritime Transport Agency of Georgia as part of Maritime Week.
During the lecture, participants received comprehensive information about the modern capabilities of Electronic Chart Display and Information Systems (ECDIS), their safe operation, compliance with international regulations and the growing role of digital technologies in modern navigation.
