Representatives of Nikola Vaptsarov Naval Academy Visit BNU

On 30 July 2026, BNU hosted representatives of the Nikola Vaptsarov Naval Academy (Bulgaria).

During the visit, a working meeting was held with members of the University administration. The parties discussed the existing areas of cooperation between the two higher education institutions, as well as prospects for further collaboration. The main topics of discussion included strengthening international cooperation, expanding mobility opportunities for academic and administrative staff and students, implementing joint educational and research projects, and sharing international best practices in maritime education.

As part of the visit, the guests were introduced to BNU’s academic programmes, modern facilities, training infrastructure, and international activities. They also toured the University’s simulation centres and learned about the innovative approaches employed in the education and training of future seafarers and maritime industry professionals.
