PUBLIC LECTURE AT BNTU

"Main aspects of the Practitioner for the First Step of the Seafarer" - delivered a public lecture at Batumi Navigation Teaching University. Captain Nugzar Bolkvadze introduced all the important issues to the students of the higher educational institutions, in which future seafarers should pay attention to the departure of the sailors. What training should students pass on to the ship and what theoretical and practical knowledge should they be able to work in a safe environment? Security measures, stages of understanding, communicating with each other, rights and obligations, documentation and contracts - the details of the young man introduced to the youngsters on the basis of their own experiences and examples. Four cases were discussed at the meeting: fire, piracy attack, wrong maneuvering of the vessel and crash. Captain Nugzar Bolkvadze also introduced students of the Batumi Navigation Teaching University to introduce the necessary rules, procedures and threats before entering the closed premises and the sailors might be faced with. The meeting continued in question-answer mode. Similar public lectures will be held in the Batumi Navigation Teaching University.
