Public Lecture by a Professor from University of Montenegro

On December 9, 2025, a public lecture titled “Efficient Approaches to Ship Hull Corrosion Monitoring: Paving the Way for Future Vessels” was held at BNU for students and vocational students.

The lecture was delivered by Prof. Špiro Ivošević from the Faculty of Maritime Studies, University of Montenegro.

Professor Ivošević introduced modern technological methods aimed at increasing ship safety and extending their operational lifespan. The discussion highlighted innovative monitoring systems that enable early detection of corrosion and its effective management - a crucial aspect in contemporary shipbuilding and maritime logistics.

During the session, students also explored current trends in the technological development of the maritime industry.
