International Symposium "NAVINAUTICS 2k23"

On February 28, 2024, students from the Maritime - Engineering Faculty of Batumi Navigation Teaching University, namely Giorgi Galdava, Goga Pagava, Tornike Zghenti, and Butkhuzi Alasania, took part in the International Symposium "NAVINAUTICS 2k23." During the symposium, these students presented articles and reports addressing the following topics:

• "The Human Factor in Maritime Accidents: Crew Training and Safety";
• "Digitization in the Maritime Sector";

BNTU Associate Professor George Gabedava served as the scientific supervisor for the students. The international symposium was hosted by the Faculty of Maritime Science at the Indian AMET University.
