International Training in China

From December 15–19, 2025, Levan Gobadze, Assistant Professor and Head of the Research Center at BNU, participated in the international training “Development of National Strategy on GHG Reduction and Net Zero Transition in the Maritime and Port Sector”, held in Shanghai, China. The training was organized and supported by the Maritime Technology Cooperation Centre in Asia (MTCC Asia).

The training aimed to address issues related to the development of national strategies for reducing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and transitioning toward Net Zero emissions in the maritime and port sectors.

Within the framework of the training, participants discussed global regulatory frameworks, technological innovations, the development of green ports and modern approaches to promoting sustainable maritime transport.
