Working Group Meeting within DUGEOR

On November 14-15, 2024, George Gabedava, Head of the International Relations Service at BNTU, took part in a working group meeting as part of the ERASMUS+ Capacity Building project, "Strengthening Capacities for the Implementation of Dual Education in Georgian Higher Education (DUGEOR)." The project focuses on establishing a legal and strategic framework.

The meeting addressed several key topics, including:

  • Reviewing proposed amendments to the higher education law;
  • Planned updates to accreditation standards;
  • Progress on activities carried out under the 2024 work package;
  • A report on the information campaigns conducted as part of the project.

The Georgian Institute of Public Affairs (GIPA) hosted the event.

The project consortium boasts 16 esteemed members, comprising 4 foreign universities from Serbia, Austria, and Germany, along with 5 Georgian universities and 5 partner organizations.

The Ministry of Education, Science and Youth of Georgia and the National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement are integral members of this consortium.

The project is financed by the European Union under the ERASMUS+ Capacity Building program.

 

This initiative commenced on January 1, 2023, and will be concluded concluded on December 31, 2026.
