Training Of The Internal Auditor 07.06.2021

On June 4-6, 2021, the Head of the International Relations Service of the Batumi Navigation Teaching University passed the training of the Internal Auditor of the Management System in accordance with the ISO 19011: 2018 standard.

The following issues were discussed during the training:

- Basic requirements and structure of the standard;

- Principles of teamwork;

- Staff responsibility in the process;

- Code of Audit Ethics;

- Audit: process, methodology, approaches and principles;

Upon completion of the training, a certification exam was conducted.

The training was led by Natia Zedginidze, ISO expert, Maria Polyakova, Head of the Quality Assurance Service of the Maritime Transport Agency, spoke to the participants about the responsibilities of the staff and the Code of Audit Ethics.
