Event Dedicated to International Book Reading Day at BNU

On February 10, 2026, an event dedicated to International Book Reading Day was held, organized by the library of BNU.
The invited guests were poet Bela Keburia and poet Bagrat Akujba, a graduate of BNU’s vocational education program.
The guests spoke about the importance of books and education in modern society, the role of reading in a person’s spiritual and personal development, as well as the influence of literature on the formation of values.
As part of the event, the invited authors read poems from their own works to the audience, giving the meeting a creative and interactive character.
The event aimed to promote books and strengthen reading culture among the younger generation.
