VI Kotor International Maritime Conference

We would like to inform you that the VI Kotor International Maritime Conference – KIMC 2026 will be held on 26–28 November 2026 in Kotor, Montenegro. Additional information is available on the conference’s official website: www.kimc.ucg.ac.me.

The conference is organized and hosted by the Faculty of Maritime Studies Kotor, University of Montenegro, in cooperation with the Municipality of Kotor and the Port of Kotor.

KIMC 2026 will bring together scientists, researchers, maritime industry representatives, and policymakers to discuss current challenges and development perspectives in maritime science and practice. The conference topics include:

• Navigation and maritime engineering technologies

• Sustainable maritime transport and marine environmental protection

• Development of ports and logistics systems

• Maritime safety and security issues

• Integration of modern technologies in maritime operations and education.

Participants will have the opportunity to present their papers in person at the conference, in a poster session format or online.

Accepted abstracts will be published in the Conference Abstract Book, and authors may also submit full papers for publication in the Journal of Maritime Science (www.jms.ucg.ac.me).
