Grant Competition
Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation of Georgia (SRNSFG) and the Helmholtz Research Centers — Jülich Research Center (FZJ), Dresden-Rossendorf Center (HZDR), and the GSI Helmholtz Center for Heavy Ion Research — announce a joint grant competition (GHZ) for Master’s and PhD students.
Purpose of the Competition
The aim of the competition is to give students the opportunity to conduct research related to their master’s or doctoral theses at one of the Helmholtz Centers in Germany, in either fundamental or applied research fields.
Eligibility
- Master’s and PhD students are eligible to participate.

- Life and Medical Sciences
Funding
The grant includes a monthly stipend:
- For Master’s students — equivalent of €934 in Georgian Lari
- For PhD students — equivalent of €1,468 in Georgian Lari
(50% of the funding is provided by the Foundation, and 50% by the Helmholtz Centers.)
