Announcement for BNU Academic Staff and Students
This international prize aims to support organizations implementing innovative and practical projects in the field of sustainable development.
The competition covers the following areas: Health; Food and agriculture; Energy; Water resources; Climate change.
The prize is intended for: Schools; Universities; Other interested institutions implementing innovative initiatives in the above-mentioned fields.
The 2027 competition cycle places particular emphasis on:
- Climate resilience;
- Innovative and scalable solutions;
- Projects with measurable social impact;
- Integration of technology and social impact.
Funding:
- The winning organization in each category will receive USD 1 million;
- The Global High Schools category will receive USD 150,000;
- Starting from 2027, finalists will also receive funding of up to USD 100,000.
Main evaluation criteria:
- Impact;
- Innovation;
- Inspiration (leadership and motivational element).
Application deadline: 22 June 2026; Applications must be submitted individually.
