38th AUAP Annual Conference - 2026

According to the information received by the Ministry of Education, Science and Youth of Georgia, the 38th Annual Conference of the Association of Universities of Asia and the Pacific (AUAP) has been announced. The conference will be held on 19–21 May 2026 at Neumann University (Kecskemét, Hungary).

The theme of the conference is: “Reimagining Higher Education in the Age of Artificial Intelligence: Innovation, Inclusivity and Impact for a Sustainable Future”

Objectives of the conference:

• Development of a global declaration on ethical artificial intelligence in higher education;
• Creation of collaborative frameworks for inclusive digital transformation;
• Formulation of policy recommendations for sustainable and peace-oriented education;
• Strengthening networks for research and innovation diplomacy.

Topics to be discussed:

• Application of ethical AI in higher education;
• Approaches to inclusive digital transformation;
• Education policy in the context of sustainable development;
• International cooperation in research and innovation.
