Chinese Government Scholarships – “Youth of Excellence Scheme of China” Academic Year 2026–2027

According to the information provided by the Ministry of Education, Science and Youth of Georgia, and based on a note from the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Georgia, the Government of the People’s Republic of China has announced the scholarship programme “Youth of Excellence Scheme of China” for the 2026–2027 academic year.

The programme is intended for foreign nationals and provides full funding for English-taught Master’s degree programmes in China.

Key features of the programme:

• Duration of study: generally 12 months;
• Some programmes follow a “1+1” model (study in China combined with professional activity in the candidate’s home country);
• Full scholarship, covering:
• tuition fees;
• accommodation and other living expenses during the study period.

Application deadline: 31 March 2026, 23:59 (GMT+8)

Applications must be submitted electronically through the Chinese Government Scholarship System.
