BNTU at the International Week of Vocational Education

On May 19-21, 2025, representatives from the Department of Vocational Education at Batumi Navigation Teaching University participated in the International Week of Vocational Education "VET Connect 2.0: International Week of Vocational Partnerships", organized by the Skills Agency.

Within the framework of the International Week of Vocational Education, following the official opening, participating countries, including Georgia, presented thematic presentations to the attending audience. The presentations were based on countries' experiences and reflected significant directions in vocational education development, including internationalization of vocational education, innovations, international cooperation, and integration of modern technologies into the educational process.

The week's program also included panel discussions where the relationship between vocational education and startups was discussed, as well as the role of technological innovations and the use of innovative methods to improve the quality of education.

Interactive format sessions were held within the framework of the week - representatives of participating countries presented their colleges' informational materials and projects in an exhibition format. During the exhibition, guests had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with vocational educational spaces from different countries. BNTU representatives gave a comprehensive presentation about BNTU's vocational programs and presented the university's informational and promotional materials to participants. The presentation attracted particular attention and generated interest from foreign colleagues.

The event provided Georgian and foreign participants with the opportunity to share experiences, exchange ideas and discuss common challenges, making the exhibition an effective platform for establishing professional connections. It facilitated colleges' discussions of future collaboration opportunities with each other.

Participation in the event once again confirms BNTU's open approach to the internationalization of vocational education and readiness to deepen international cooperation.
