Batumi Navigation University participated in the “Regional Science Festival – 2026,” hosted by Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University on September 16, 2026. The event was organized with the initiative and financial support of the Ministry of Education, Science and Youth of Georgia.

The festival aimed to promote science, showcase the scientific potential of Georgia’s regions, encourage greater involvement of young researchers, university students, and school students, and make science more accessible to the wider public.

BNU professors and lecturers, administrative staff, and students took part in the event. In the festival’s exhibition area, the University presented scientific works and publications by its academic staff, proceedings of international scientific conferences organized by BNU, student research projects, and other materials highlighting the University’s scientific and research activities.

The festival provided BNU representatives with an opportunity to introduce the wider public to the University’s scientific achievements, ongoing research activities, and initiatives aimed at advancing maritime education and science. The event also contributed to the exchange of knowledge and experience among universities, academics, researchers, and young people.
