Representatives of BNU Participated in the Georgia National Day Event
On May 15, 2026, within the framework of the Georgia National Day event, a meeting was held on the topic: “The Role of Georgia in the Prevention of Black Sea Pollution.”
The event was attended by the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of Batumi Navigation University, Associate Professor Elida Khvedelidze, and the Head of the International Relations Service, Professor George Gabedava.
During the meeting, participants discussed ongoing policies and international initiatives related to the prevention of maritime pollution in the Black Sea region, the role of the state in environmental protection processes, and the importance of digital transformation in the maritime sector.
The event also served as an important platform for experience sharing and professional networking among representatives of the maritime, governmental, private, and academic sectors.
Batumi Navigation University continues its active involvement in events of both national and international importance, contributing to the strengthening of academic and professional cooperation in the maritime and environmental fields.
