BNU Representatives at the Opening Ceremony of STEAM SEA 2025
On October 11, 2025, the opening ceremony of the STEAM SEA 2025 Engineering and Technology Week took place at Batumi TechnoPark. The event brought together around 60 participants who presented new ideas and technological innovations in the fields of maritime innovation and engineering.
The opening ceremony was attended by Dr. Elida Khvedelidze, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of Batumi Navigation University (BNU), and Dr. George Gabedava, Head of the International Relations Service.
The event began with a panel discussion on “Maritime Innovations and Engineering,” featuring active ship captains, blue economy experts, and representatives of the maritime business sector.
STEAM SEA 2025 aims to promote engineering, science, and technology among young people, encourage innovative thinking, and provide practical experience in a dynamic and technology-driven environment.
