First International Meeting of BSM Smart Academy Partner Universities

On December 4, 2024, representatives from partner universities of Bernhard Schulte Shipmanagement's (BSM) educational initiative - BSM Smart Academy - convened for their inaugural online meeting. The Batumi Navigation Teaching University was represented by Associate Professor George Gabedava, Head of International Relations Service.

The primary objective of the meeting was to facilitate introductions among partner university representatives and establish shared expectations for program development. Each university was invited to present a minimum of three expectations regarding their collaboration with BSM Smart Academy.

The meeting brought together higher education institutions from Georgia, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, South Africa, and Vietnam. 

BSM Smart Academy is an innovative educational program that enables selected students to commence BSM-specific training from their first year of studies, preparing them for successful careers within the company.
