24th Annual General Assembly of IAMU

From October 9-12, 2024, the Head of the International Relations Service at BNTU, Associate Professor George Gabedava, along with the Rector's Assistant, Levan Gvarishvili and Rector's Office Specialist, Emzar Gvarishvili, participated in the 24th Annual General Assembly of the International Association of Maritime Universities (IAMU).
This year's assembly was hosted by the Massachusetts Maritime Academy in Boston, USA.
The event included an international scientific conference on "Protecting Our Mariners - Promoting Our Industry - Providing for the Future," along with a plenary session and a Rectors' Forum.
The assembly brought together 300 delegates from 75 leading maritime educational institutions worldwide.
