Meeting with First Year Students on BNU’s Internationalization and Student Opportunities
On September 22, 2025, within the framework of the student socialization plan at BNU, the Head of the International Relations Service, Professor George Gabedava, held a meeting with first-year students.
The purpose of the meeting was to provide students with detailed information about the university’s internationalization policy, international partnerships and the educational opportunities available to them.
Professor Gabedava placed particular emphasis on the Erasmus+ exchange programs, which allow students to study at leading foreign universities, enhance their academic skills, experience diverse cultural environments, and gain valuable international experience. He also discussed BNU’s cooperation with maritime and logistics universities in Asia and Europe, which creates broad opportunities for both academic and scientific collaboration.
During the meeting, Professor Gabedava stressed that one of BNU’s main priorities is to support students’ professional and personal development in an international context. He encouraged freshmen to actively take advantage of the programs offered by the university, participate in international projects and scientific activities, which will significantly increase their competitiveness in the global labor market.
BNU will continue to support student socialization initiatives and aims to further encourage young people’s active involvement in the university’s educational, scientific and international activities.
