Informational Meeting with the Students
At the initiative of the Adjara Office of the Information Center on NATO and the EU under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, a series of informational meetings with young people will be held in Batumi on April 4, marking the 75th anniversary of the establishment of the North Atlantic Alliance (NATO).
The meetings will address key topics such as NATO’s principles, foundation, enlargement, functions, goals, and missions. In addition, discussions will focus on NATO–Georgia relations, ongoing cooperation, as well as achievements and challenges within this process.
In connection with this date, several informational meetings and discussions with various target groups will be organized across the Adjara region. These activities aim to raise public awareness about Georgia’s Euro-Atlantic integration process, its dynamics, opportunities, challenges, and future prospects.
The meetings will be led by Irma Gabinashvili, Representative of the Information Center on NATO and the EU under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia.
The Information Center on NATO and the EU regularly organizes information campaigns, public events, seminars, meetings, open discussions, and educational activities tailored to specific target groups throughout the country. Young people and professionals working in the education sector represent one of the Center’s priority audiences. The main goal of engagement with these groups is to deepen their understanding of the importance of European and Euro-Atlantic integration, ongoing processes, existing opportunities and challenges, and to encourage their active involvement in integration processes.
