The Annual General Assembly Of Bsami 10.02.2021

The Annual Assembly of the Black Seas Association of Maritime Institutions (BSAMI) was held on February 10, 2021. The Assembly was opened by the chairperson of the Association, Mr. Oral Erdogan, Rector of the Piri Reis University.

Within the Assembly, the rectors of the member universities summarized the past year and the challenges and difficulties created by the pandemic.

During the meeting, participants shared best practices and progress in the fight against COVID19.

Participants planned future activities to be implemented with the association.

Also, the ideas of new research projects were presented and discussed by the member universities within the framework of the Assembly.

The Head of International Relations of BNTU presented the idea of the research project developed at the University to the audience. The idea was well received, noting that work will continue in this direction and finding a source of funding.

Mr. Parmen Khvedelidze, Rector of Batumi Navigation Teaching University, Mrs. Lali Khvedelidze, Chancellor of BNTU; Mrs. Natia Mikeltadze, Head of the Quality Assurance Service and Mr. George Gabedava, Head of the International Relations Service attended the Assembly together with the member universities of the Association.

The assembly was attended by representatives of ten maritime universities from six countries in the region.

The Assembly is held annually and is organized by the Black Sea Association of Maritime Institutions (BSAMI).
