Meeting on the Functioning of the Academic Council and the Faculty Council for Academic Personnel

On April 7, 2025, an informational meeting for academic personnel was held at BNTU, dedicated to the rules governing the functioning of the Academic and Faculty Councils.

The meeting discussed the clear delineation of the councils’ competencies and the elimination of risks of overlapping responsibilities. Particular attention was paid to transparent and public procedures for the election of council members. Participants were informed about the rights, duties, and areas of responsibility of council members. Issues related to conflicts of interest and the relevant restrictions in the decision-making process were explained separately. 

The meeting contributed to increasing the awareness of academic personnel and to a better understanding of governance processes.
