For applicants who, based on the results of the Unified National Examinations in 2026, have obtained the right to study in a vocational educational program, the following documents must be submitted for enrollment in the vocational educational program at Batumi Navigation University (BNU) for the 2026–2027 academic year, from September 11, 2026 through September 14, 2026:
- Registration application (to be completed at the time of submitting the documents). In the case of a minor, the application shall be completed by their legal representative;
- Original and copy of an identity document (ID card) (for foreign citizens – a copy of the passport/identity document and the original of its notarized translation); in the case of a minor or a person requiring guardianship, a copy of the applicant’s identity document and a document confirming the legal representative’s authority (including the birth certificate of a minor, or other relevant document);
- 4 photographs, size 3x4 cm, and an electronic version (on a CD/DVD);
- Male Georgian citizens subject to military registration must provide a document confirming their military registration (original and copy);
- In accordance with the admission requirements of the relevant vocational educational program, a document confirming completion of the basic or full level of general education (original/notarized copy), or another educational document (original/notarized copy) that could not have been obtained without completing the full or basic level of general education, and/or, where a previous qualification level is required, a vocational diploma (original/notarized copy);
- In the case of education obtained at an educational institution in another country, a notarized Georgian-language translation of the educational document and a document certifying recognition of education issued by the LEPL National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement (original/notarized copies);
- A person who has received education in the occupied territories, on the basis of which they are being enrolled in a vocational program, must provide a document certifying recognition of education (original/notarized copies);
- A certificate on the applicant’s health status. The health status is reflected in the relevant medical certificate, which is issued in accordance with the established procedure by a medical institution selected by the Agency (the list of selected medical institutions is available on the Agency’s website: [www.mta.gov.ge](http://www.mta.gov.ge)). In accordance with Georgian legislation and the regulatory documents of the International Maritime Organization (International Convention on Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping for Seafarers, 1978/95, as amended in 2010), applicants to maritime programs must meet the relevant health requirements necessary for studying the specific components of the program and achieving the intended learning outcomes.
The documents must be submitted in hard copy to the BNU Administrative Building at the following address: 38 Tamar Mepe Avenue, Makhinjauri, Batumi.
Working hours: 10:00–17:00.
