For Attention of Applicants!

Applicants who registered for the vocational educational programs at Batumi Navigation University in 2026, for the purpose of enrollment in the 2026–2027 vocational educational programs, must submit the following documents from 18 October to 25 October 2026, inclusive:
- Registration application – to be completed at the time of submitting the documents. In the case of a minor, the application must be completed by their legal representative.
- Identity document – the original and a copy of the identity card/ID card. In the case of a foreign citizen, a copy of the passport/identity document and the original of its notarized translation must be submitted. In the case of a minor or a person requiring guardianship, a copy of the applicant’s identity document and a document confirming the legal representative’s relevant authority must also be submitted, including the minor’s birth certificate or other relevant document.
- Four 3×4 cm photographs and an electronic version of the photograph on a CD/DVD.
- For male Georgian citizens subject to military registration: a document confirming military registration (original and copy).
- Document confirming the completion of the relevant level of general education, in accordance with the admission requirements of the respective vocational educational program: a document confirming completion of full or basic general education (original/notarized copy), or another educational document whose acquisition would not have been possible without completing full or basic general education, and/or, where a previous level is required, a vocational diploma (original/notarized copy).
- Medical fitness certificate. The applicant’s health status must be confirmed by the relevant medical certificate issued, in accordance with established procedures, by a medical institution recognized by the Maritime Transport Agency. The list of recognized medical institutions is available on the Agency’s website, mta.gov.ge. In accordance with Georgian legislation and the relevant regulatory instruments of the International Maritime Organization, including the International Convention on Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping for Seafarers, 1978/95, as amended in 2010, applicants to maritime programs must meet the relevant medical fitness requirements necessary for studying the specific components of the program and achieving the intended learning outcomes. This requirement applies only to maritime programs.
- For applicants who received their education at an educational institution in another country: a notarized Georgian-language translation of the educational document and an education recognition document issued by the National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement (original/notarized copies).
- For applicants who received their education in the occupied territories of Georgia, where such education serves as the basis for enrollment in a vocational program: an education recognition document (original/notarized copies).
The required documents must be submitted in hard copy to the BNU Administrative Building at: 38 Tamar Mepe Avenue, Makhinjauri, Batumi, Georgia
