Bernhard Schulte Shipmanagement Representative's Visit to BNTU

On August 1-2, 2022, Mr. Athanasios ( Thanos ) Panoutsopoulos, the representative of Bernhard Schulte Shipmanagement and the head of the cadet scheme of the Schulte Group, visited the Batumi Navigation Training University.

The purpose of the visit was to establish cooperation with the Batumi Navigation Teaching University.

Within the framework of the working visit, on the first day, he held a working meeting with the rector of Batumi Navigation Teaching University, Parmen Khvedelidze; with the head of administration Lali Khvedelidze; with Deputy Rector Gela Gvarishvili and with the Head of International Relations Service George Gabedava.

Within the framework of the meeting, the head of the international relations service made a presentation about the activities implemented and to be implemented by the university for the institutional development and provided the guest with detailed information about the existing educational programs at BNTU.

The guest, in his turn, made a presentation about Bernhard Schulte Shipmanagement and spoke in detail about the cadet program, within the scope of which BNTU students will be employed as cadets.

The second day of the visit was devoted to an interview with students of higher and professional educational programs of BNTU. Accordingly, students who successfully passed the interview will join the team of Bernhard Schulte Shipmanagement in the near future and will be employed as a cadet at the first stage.

BNTU will continue to cooperate with Bernhard Schulte Shipmanagement and ensure the supply of qualified cadets periodically.
