23 May 2025

From May 19 to 21, 2025, representatives of the Vocational Education Department of BNTU participated in the international vocational education week VET Connect 2.0: International Week of Vocational Partnerships, organized by the Skills Agency.

As part of the international week of vocational education, following the official opening, participating countries—including Georgia—delivered thematic presentations to the audience. These presentations reflected each country’s experience and highlighted key areas in the development of vocational education, such as internationalization, innovation, international cooperation, and the integration of modern technologies into the educational process.

The week’s program also included panel discussions, which addressed the intersection of vocational education and startups, the role of technological innovations, and the use of innovative methods to enhance the quality of teaching.

Interactive sessions were also held during the week. In an exhibition-style format, representatives of participating countries presented informational materials and projects from their colleges. BNTU representatives delivered a comprehensive presentation about the university’s vocational programs and showcased informational materials. Their presentation drew significant attention and interest from international colleagues.

The event provided Georgian and international participants with the opportunity to share experiences, exchange ideas, and discuss common challenges, establishing the exhibition as an effective platform for building professional connections. It also facilitated discussions about future collaboration opportunities between colleges.

BNTU’s active involvement in the event once again confirms the university’s open approach toward the internationalization of vocational education and its readiness to deepen international cooperation.
