The International Maritime Lecturers Association is an independent association whose mission is to share information and expertise around the world on maritime education and training.
The Association plays an important role in sharing the knowledge and experience of the maritime professionals and exchanging ideas on the world market. There are three sub-committees under the umbrella of IMLA:
1. Sub-Committee on the International Navigation Simulator Lecturers Conference (INSLC);
2.Sub-Committee on the International Conference on Engine Room Simulators (ICERS);
3. Sub-Committee on the International Maritime English Conference (IMEC);
For the Batumi Navigation Teaching University, this is another step towards implementing the university's internationalization policy and establishing itself internationally.
