DAAD Representative Will Have A Meeting At BNTU

On October 23, DAAD representative will hold an informational meeting at the Batumi Navigation Teaching University.

Ms. Maxim Bornmann, a representative of the German Academic Exchange Service, will provide information to students and staff regarding what grants and scholarships DAAD offers to both students and academic / administrative staff for the purpose of studying or raising qualifications.

The meeting, which will be held in the conference room, is organized by BNTU International Relations Service and will be starting at 12:00.

DAAD unites people and science. Founded in 1925 in Heidelberg by the initiative of the students, today it is one of the most important foundations for international exchange of students and Scientists. Since its establishment, DAAD has financed two million people in Germany and abroad. It should also be noted that DAAD's work goes beyond just scholarship: DAAD promotes the internationalization of German higher education institutions, enhances Germanic and German language as a foreign language, assists developing countries in developing competitive higher education, while also consulting with experts in education, science and development policy.

The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) has been represented in Georgia since 1988. The budget is funded by various federal ministries, primarily the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as well as the EU.
