BNU Student Attends Cadet Training Course in Cyprus

Anri Melua, a student of the Bachelor’s Educational Programme in Maritime Navigation at Batumi Navigation University (BNU), will attend a Basic Cadet Training Course at a maritime training centre in Limassol, Cyprus, as part of the cooperation between BNU and Bernhard Schulte Shipmanagement (BSM).

The training will last 2.5 months and will help the student deepen his professional knowledge and practical skills, as well as prepare for his future work on board a vessel.

Upon completion of the course, Anri Melua will undertake a six-month sea-going internship, which is a mandatory component of the Maritime Navigation educational programme. During the internship, he will have the opportunity to apply the knowledge gained in a real working environment and acquire valuable professional experience.

Cooperation with BSM contributes to the professional development of BNU students and expands opportunities for them to gain practical experience in the international maritime industry.
