BNU's Representative at BSAMI Working Meeting

On May 19, 2026, Professor George Gabedava, Head of the International Relations Service at BNU, attended the Executive Board Meeting of the Black Sea Association of Maritime Universities (BSAMI). The meeting was hosted by the Nikola Vaptsarov Naval Academy in Varna, Bulgaria.

The session focused on the BSAMI cooperation agreement, the developmental framework for doctoral education, directions for academic partnership, joint initiatives and prospects for future collaboration.

The event program also featured institutional presentations and discussions on strengthening maritime education and international academic cooperation. Professor George Gabedava delivered a presentation highlighting BNU’s ongoing international, academic and institutional activities. The presentation emphasized the university's global partnerships, student and staff mobility, projects in professional and higher education and the integration of modern approaches and technologies into maritime training.

BNU continues its active engagement in international maritime educational networks, consistently deepening cooperation with partner universities.
