BNU Representatives Attended Georgia’s National Day Event
On May 15, 2026, within the framework of Georgia’s National Day, an event was held on the topic: “Georgia’s Role in the Prevention of Black Sea Pollution.”
The event was attended by BNU Deputy Rector for Academic Affairs, Associate Professor Elida Khvedelidze and Head of the International Relations Service, Professor George Gabedava.
During the meeting, participants discussed ongoing policies and international initiatives aimed at preventing marine pollution in the Black Sea region, the role of the state in environmental protection processes and the importance of digital transformation in the maritime sector.
The event also served as an important platform for experience sharing and professional networking among representatives of the maritime, governmental, private and academic sectors.
BNU continues its active involvement in events of both international and national significance, contributing to the strengthening of the university’s academic and professional cooperation in the maritime and environmental fields.
