World Book and Copyright Day Celebrated at BNU

On April 23, 2026, BNU celebrated World Book and Copyright Day. The event, organized by the BNU Library, was met with great enthusiasm by the students and vocational students.

As part of the event, students participated in a book exchange, gifting books to one another. This activity highlighted the role of books as gifts of universal value and their importance in raising social awareness.

In addition to the book exchange, students had the opportunity to share their personal reflections and visions. They left notes on what the library means to them. In their impressions, the library was described not only as a source of knowledge but also as a space for tranquility, discovery and the sharing of ideas.

World Book Day is celebrated annually by UNESCO's initiative and aims to promote reading.
