Edgar Ustyan, a student of the Batumi Navigation Teaching University, won first place in contact karate.
The sport event was held in Barcelona, Spain, in which 250 athletes from 12 countries were participating. BNTU student Edgar Ustian, along with three other members of the Adjara team, became the champion of the competition.
In the semifinal, he was opposed by a Hungarian opponent.
The International Contact Karate Competition was held on November 23-24. 9 sportsmen from Ajara participated in it.
