Participation in the International Student Scientific Conference

On March 17, 2022, Tornike Geladze, a third-year student of the Maritime Navigation Educational Program at the Batumi Navigation Teaching University, participated in the Student International Scientific Conference "The Green Line of Maritime Business".

Tornike gave a presentation on "How Maritime Transport Affects on Enviroment", headed by George Gabedava, Associate Professor at BNTU.

The International Conference Board had nominated the best presentation in which Tornike's presentation won.

The conference was attended by about 40 students and they represented different universities around the world.

The conference was organized by the Lithuanian Maritime Academy and was dedicated to Earth Day. Recall Earth Day is celebrated annually on April 22nd.
