Representatives of the University of Business Academy in Novi Sad Visit BNU
From May 18 to 22, 2026, BNU hosted representatives from the University of Business Academy in Novi Sad (Serbia) - Vice-Rector for International Cooperation, Professor Marijana Mladenov, and the Head of the International Relations Office, Professor Milena Galetin. The visit was carried out within the framework of the Erasmus+ International Credit Mobility program.
The guests held a working meeting with the Head of BNU Administration-Chancellor, Lali Khvedelidze and the Head of the International Relations Service, Professor George Gabedava. During the meeting, the results of the existing cooperation between the two universities, mobilities carried out within the framework of the Erasmus+ program, perspectives for deepening cooperation, as well as opportunities for expanding exchange programs for students and academic/administrative staff were discussed.
The parties paid special attention to the opportunities for implementing joint research projects, international conferences, academic events and future educational initiatives. The meeting participants emphasized the importance of international cooperation in terms of raising the quality of higher education and ensuring the accessibility of international experience for students.
Within the framework of the visit, the guests got acquainted with the history of BNU, its strategic development directions, educational programs and international partner network. Also, they toured the university's educational infrastructure, including modern classrooms, specialized laboratories and marine simulation centers, where they received detailed information regarding the processes related to the practical and professional training of students.
A cultural-educational program was also arranged for the guests, within the framework of which they had the opportunity to get acquainted with the cultural and historical sights of Batumi, which will further contribute to the strengthening of academic and cultural ties between Georgia and Serbia.
The visit concluded with a discussion of future cooperation plans and a confirmation of readiness for the further development of partner relations. The parties expressed their desire to further activate joint activities within the framework of the Erasmus+ program and other international initiatives in the coming years.
