Online Meeting With BNTU Partner Employers 25.08.2020

On August 25, 2020, at the initiative of the Quality Assurance Service and the Practice and Employment Service of Batumi Navigation Teaching University organized a working online meeting with BNTU partner employers. The English-language Bachelor Educational programs "Maritime Navigation" and "Ship Mechanics" developed at BNTU were presented at the meeting. The co-head of the program, Assistant Professor, George Gabedava and Senior Mechanic Boris Kvikvinia introduced the structure of the English-language program, goals, material, technical and human resources needed for their implementation to the representatives of crewing companies . The Head of Quality Assurance Service, Professor Natia Mikeltadze spoke about the compliance of the program with national and international standards.

Representatives of 11 crewing companies participating in the meeting liked the University's initiative to develop English-language programs, program content and dynamics. After discussion, questions and answers, the employers positively evaluated the newly created program and gave it a recommendation for implementation.
