First Stage of the Freshmen’s Adaptation and Socialization Plan

From September 15 to 30, 2025, a series of meetings were held at BNU as part of the first stage of the freshmen’s adaptation and socialization plan. The main goal of this activity is to ensure the rapid and effective integration of students into the academic and social environment.

Freshmen met with the deans of the faculties and heads of educational programs, as well as representatives of the Student Registration, Examination, Assessment and Monitoring Service, Student Services, Labour Safety Service, Library, International Relations Service, Public Relations Service, Quality Assurance Service and Students Self-Government. In addition, a lawyer and a personal data protection officer met with the students.

Students received detailed information about the activities and services of these services, including issues such as:

  • The structure of the learning process and the specifics of the academic process

  • Registration and assessment procedures

  • Support mechanisms tailored to student needs

  • Safety standards and preventive measures

  • Internal university regulations and mechanisms for legal support

  • Data security protection standards

  • Exchange programs and opportunities for studying abroad

  • Library resources, services and usage rules

  • Communication channels and access to information resources

  • The structure of student government and opportunities for student engagement

  • Mechanisms for quality monitoring and evaluation

The adaptation and socialization plan consists of three stages in total, which envisage the active involvement of freshmen in student life.
