Public Discussion of Educational Programs with Stakeholders

On March 7, 2024, a public dialogue took place involving key stakeholders of Batumi Navigation Teaching University (BNTU). The discussion focused on the undergraduate educational programs "Maritime Navigation" and "Ship’s Power Plant" within the Maritime Engineering Faculty. Additionally, the event delved into BNTU's new mission, vision, and values.
During the meeting, the adjusted educational programs, aligned with the updated Sectoral Benchmark, were introduced to the stakeholders. Simultaneously, the draft of Batumi Navigation Teaching University's (BNTU) new mission, vision, and values was deliberated.
Participants shared their perspectives on the matters under discussion, and pertinent recommendations were articulated.
Within the meeting's scope, a memorandum of mutual cooperation was formalized between BNTU and Luncent Georgia LLC, a crewing company.
The public discussion drew the attendance of representatives from 14 Crewing Agencies, program implementers, graduates, and students, fostering a diverse exchange of viewpoints.
