Public Lecture: Environmental Challenges and Innovative Technologies in Marine Internal Combustion Engines

On June 11, 2025, a public lecture titled “Environmental Challenges and Innovative Technologies in Marine Internal Combustion Engines” was held for BNTU students and vocational students. The lecture was delivered by Mamuka Tetemadze, Chief Mechanic, BNTU’s invited specialist and instructor at the International Maritime Training Center.
The speaker reviewed the current ecological challenges in the modern maritime industry and discussed innovative technologies related to internal combustion engines, aimed at reducing emissions from maritime transport and ensuring compliance with environmental standards.
Mr. Mamuka Tetemadze also shared practical examples from his experience and provided the audience with important recommendations.
