Public Lecture on "Cyber Security and Hybrid Warfare"

On April 18, 2022, the staff and students of the Batumi Navigation Teaching University attended a public lecture on "Cyber Security and Hybrid Warfare".   The meeting discussed important issues such as cyber security in Georgia, its importance in combating the threats of anti-Western propaganda and the use of Startcom as the most important anti-Western propaganda in Georgia's Euro-Atlantic integration process.   The meeting was chaired by Andro Gotsiridze, Founder of CYSEC, Cyber Security Education Research Center, and Irma Gabinashvili, Regional Representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for NATO and EU Information Center in Adjara.   The meeting was held in the framework of the ongoing project "Increasing Awareness and Involvement in the Western Integration Process in the Regions" with the support of the US Department of State.   The project is implemented by the "Information Center on NATO and the European Union" of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia and similar meetings are permanently organized within its framework.   The meeting was held at the American Corner of the Batumi Public Library.
