Public Lecture: Simple Navigation for Cadets

On 21st March, 2025, BNTU hosted a public lecture on “Simple Navigation for Cadets,” delivered by Ilia Nikabadze – a seafarer, third officer and a graduate of our university.
During the lecture, Ilia shared his professional journey, offering insights into the key steps he took and the challenges he faced while building his career as a sailor. He placed particular emphasis on practical advice, which holds great value for aspiring mariners.
Additionally, Ilia introduced students to his information page, @მარტივინავიგაცია, where he regularly shares essential knowledge and practical tips to support those pursuing or already advancing in a maritime career.
