Public Online Lecture "Freedom Of First Passers" 26.05.2020

On May 26, 2020, an online public lecture "Freedom of Passers" was held for BNTU students, academic and administrative staff. The lecture was given by Doctor of Philology Prof. Natia Mikeltadze.

"Civilization stands firmly on the first passers-by, the pioneers, the people who are caught up in the dream of an ' untrodden road trip', sacrificing themselves to the idea they believe in.

First passers-by always die, for example, or in silence and oblivion, deprived of glory. They are always the victims of reproach and intolerance, they are condemned and fought, but it is they who are the beginning of a new era, they are taking humanity to a qualitatively new level of existence, they are changing the world. Freedom is a profound category. Each person has his share of freedom, gained in the struggle with himself and the outside world. And yet, there are people, and in their footsteps - literary heroes, without whom freedom could remain a bondage”.

The lecture was dedicated to the Independence Day of Georgia.
